The LA chapter needs more members, and STAR voting generally needs more awareness. Let's address those needs and have some fun simultaneously by canvassing at Culver City Pride! Note that we have been floating Culver City as a great candidate for STAR voting, given its relatively central location and reputation for open-minded politics.

Getting there: Considering that Pride events are typically very crowded, parking may be challenging. It may be best to take the LA Metro E line and get off at the Culver City stop. Various other stops along the E line have parking lots with daily passes costing only $2-3. See this link to find the stop closest to you: https://www.metro.net/riding/parking/lotsbyline/#e-line. If you are coming to LA by Metrolink or Amtrak, then take the A line from Union Station toward Long Beach, then at any stop from the next one (Little Tokyo) to Pico, transfer to the E line toward Santa Monica..
