Sharing Power: Tools for Transforming Community

Tom Llewellyn from Shareable Cities will help us host a dynamic evening looking at the commons-based vision for Cities, building upon Shareable’s years of experience covering the ecosystem and the 137 model policies and case studies from 80 cities in 35 countries curated for their new book, "Sharing Cities: Activating the Urban Commons."

Lenny Dee will present on The Portland Clean Energy Fund and the initiative to pass it. It is a story about us creating our own clean energy future, where new renewable energy and energy efficiency investments improve our homes, improve our city’s environment, train our workers, and support our businesses.

Sara Wolk will share a inspiring initiative to bring us more fair and representative elections. STAR Voting lets voters show their full, honest opinions using a 5 star rating ballot. Finally, elections that don't play favorites, where everyone has a voice, and where we can hold our candidates accountable! This is Portland's chance to be the model the rest of the country has been waiting for.
